The gentleman who was leading the project died tragically, unexpectedly at the end of October in the middle of it all. Give them a break. I'm sure they are working on it and want it to be right when it happens.
I'm sorry someone died, but why go all out with an ad blitz saying "new whig" and "new whig.com", then have a kind of new incomplete site up Monday morning and then the old lousy site up Monday afternoon?
If one person's death completely screwed up your operation, then maybe you should have thought about pushing back your debut.
As far as the old newspaper, I quit reading it years ago. I was hoping the new site would be an improvement as I would like to get more local news online. The current offerings leave much to be desired.

Who died and why?
QHW...New Look with the same old lack of news! You can learn more by reading one of the small town "weekly wipes" than the Whig.
Another day, another incredibly awesome website, its so easy to use and informative.
A guy named Cory Wilkey was their lead Web guy.
Died in late October in a car/train accident.
Today's Whig website as the same story listed twice on its home page.
Is this also to be blamed on the poor dead gentleman?
